Gen Z aesthetic Taste Project
We asked three of our younger customers to select their favorite garments from the current PE24 and create outfits on them that reflect their taste, their taste so as to help us understand the aesthetic characteristics of the much-discussed generation they belong to. Gen Z.
Gen Z and its aesthetic attitudes
The idea with which the Gen Z Aesthetic Taste project was born is to give an image to the eclectic Gen Z through the eyes of the younger users who orbit our community. The protagonists of this project are 3: Emma, Arturo and Tancredi. Their ages range between 16 and 18.
In the project, each of the teens freely selected 5 outfits with garments from the current SS24 according to what is their aesthetic taste, precisely.
The result was surprising. Different moods, maturity in styling, ability to make super cool pairings in a natural way. Paccbet together with Dries Van Noten, archival garments from Levi's Vintage together with MM6 Maison Margiela, niche brands such as Fermas Club combined with the ceremonial forms of Viktor&Rolf.
The Gen Z world thus appears to us as transversal, multifaceted, not easily channeled into a specific trend. The universe of this generation is, therefore, fluid but not without clear ideas; open but not lost. The closer one gets to Gen Z, in fact, the more one can peer into the complexity and the rich and fascinating vision that the kids of this generation have of things. Gen Z is anything but trivial; it is anything but shallow. And you can glimpse that below.
