Vans Vault and Deaton Chris Anthony return together for a capsule collection designed to enhance bowling style.
Deaton Chris Anthony is a musician, producer and designer operating in Los Angeles.
Since his childhood in Kansas, however, his passion was bowling. And he was also incredibly skilled. So much so that his dream was actually to bowl. After moving to Los Angeles to research his own creative style, his mission became to bring the game of bowling back into fashion. Hence the inspo for the collection...
In addition to the reference to bowling and its aesthetics, the collection also harkens back to DCA's childhood through the super Knu Skool VLT LX, whose grease-treated leather upper is meant to mimic grass stains. A coming back to when Deaton was mowing the lawn in Kansas.
The capsule repertoire is completed with other apparel items: a sweatshirt and a 2-in-1 t-shirt, a down jacket, and a hat that can be mixed and matched in your everyday giving a '90s-toned touch to your outifit.
