MM6 Maison Margiela x Eastpak
The MM6 Spring-Summer 2022 collection celebrates the rebelliousness of female surrealist artists, who rejected conventionality. Their influence makes itself felt in off-kilter details such as opera gloves in the same yellow as kitchen gloves, mylar chessboards prints that subtly morph as the garments move, and the gravity- defying movement of collars and scarves.

Emphasizing collaboration and chance occurrence, the MM6 Maison Margiela x Eastpak offering includes unexpected juxtapositions and visual puns such as a faux fur wheeled suitcase, ‘dripping’ iterations of the iconic Eastpak Padded Pak’r backpack, an oversized version of the Crew wallet and hybrid interpretations of the classic Japanese bag.
Masterpiece of the collection, the Poster Bag; a flat backpack which is an ode to the Maison’s archives and to the process of documenting.
